Dear Customers and Friends of Paradise Motors Mazda
Paradise Motors is a third-generation family business that has had the privilege of operating in the same area for over 63 years. We have a wonderful base of staff, loyal customers, friends and business partners. The health and safety of all of these people is of the upmost importance to us.
We understand there is some uncertainty in the world at the moment, particularly surrounding the outbreak of COVID-19 (Coronavirus).
We want to ensure everyone that whilst we haven’t seen a case in, or around our Dealership as yet, we are proactively implementing measures to protect our staff and customers, extended families and the wider community from the potential spread of this virus. If you have an appointment scheduled with us and have suspected symptoms of COVID-19, recently returned from overseas, or been in contact with someone recently returning from overseas, please call ahead and make us aware so we can assist you by rescheduling your appointment. As always, please follow the advice of health authorities.
For now, business is as usual, but examples of some of the measures we have put in place are listed below.
For all customers, visitors and staff:
- We will not be extending handshakes at the moment and we certainly won’t be offended when you don’t either. We will however accept, smiles, waves, head nods and a friendly “G’day” 😊.
- We have hand sanitising stations located throughout our Dealership for everyone to utilise
- Service staff driving and working on your vehicles will be wearing gloves and disinfecting surfaces where necessary.
- All high-touch areas are going to be wiped down and disinfected regularly. Our Dealership is also thoroughly cleaned by a professional team every night.
- Customer seating in our lounge has been spread out so people are not so close together.
- Our coffee is still as good as always. However, we now have a dedicated coffee barista located in our customer lounge at all times to serve you. This person is wearing gloves and keeping to a higher level of hygiene. This helps prevent potential spread through many people touching the coffee machines.
For our staff:
- We have issued a company policy making our staff aware of our intended processes should an outbreak occur in or around the Dealership.
- We have cancelled all business-related interstate and overseas travel. For the foreseeable future, we will still be observing 14 day self-isolation for anyone returning from overseas or interstate, even as some restrictions are lifted. We will address these on a case-by-case basis. However, our main focus is to keep staff and visitors safe.
- Staff have been educated on the basics of handwashing and hygiene.
- Staff have been made aware of COVID-19 symptoms and advised to stay home and seek medical advice should they have any symptoms.
Again, the health and safety of everyone at...
